There were 22 start-ups that applied for the SMARTup tender that the Region wanted to support in this difficult moment to give a future to new entrepreneurs from all over Umbria. Six Perugian start-ups are the winners of the tender (GEMATEG ITALIA S.R.L., 10 H9 S.R.L., ATRP 2 – ALLERGIC TESTS RESEARCH AND PRODUCTION S.R.L., BEAMIDE SRL, NEXTEGY SRL Perugia and TOCLINICS SRLS Perugia) and which will be supported with a real accompanying program for the entire duration of the project.
“Innovative startups are young, high-tech companies with strong growth potential and represent one of the key points of economic and industrial policy for Umbria and Perugia” continues Mayor Romizi, “sustainability as well as innovation must be our present and future objectives for a digital revolution, capable of offering opportunities and business models to those who decide to invest in our territories. To our six young Perugian companies I want to express all my gratitude for having launched new challenges to support innovation, as well as to the companies in the Municipality of Foligno, Terni, Corciano, Trevi, Città di Castello, Orvieto, Deruta, Todi, and Stroncone”.
